Hello! We’re excited to present our revamped interface to help you quickly verify Elicit’s answers.

When you click on any answer in Elicit’s table of papers, you will now see a larger, fixed window that makes it easy to read the source quotes and compare them to the answer.

As before, you can cycle through the quotes, with the most relevant ones shown first.

When using high-accuracy mode, the window additionally shows an “Explanation” section:

This new section tells you how Elicit used the quotes to get the answer, allowing you to understand unexpected results and decide whether to trust them or not.

If you need to check the entire abstract or paper, you can click the “Open paper” button on the lower left.

To make this interface even better, we’re currently working on adding the ability to use the keyboard arrow keys to scroll through multiple extractions without leaving the window. This will help you verify answers across papers faster still. Stay tuned!
