Hi there,

Today I want to tell you about Elicit’s “Search citation trails” (formerly “Show more like these”).

If you already have relevant papers, this feature allows you to search their citation trails for more papers relevant to your research question. What makes it unique:

  • You can search both papers that cite and are cited by your starting papers (Google Scholar only searches the latter).

  • You can search citation trails of multiple papers at once.

  • Results are ranked by relevance to your research topic, helping you efficiently navigate through hundreds of citations.

To use it, just check the boxes next to your chosen papers and click "Search citation trails".
